1. I received over 85 applications to TECH TEAM. From the 85, I chose about 40 to interview, and from the 40, I was initially going to choose 25 students.
2. Initially, I was only going to take a few students. I changed my mind. I've decided to try and accommodate all of the students that applied. This is the last year that we will receive money from the Federal Grant. This money provides funds for my position as art media coach.
3. In order to accommodate all of the students that are interested in TECH TEAM, I created several TECH TEAM meetings during the day. TECH TEAM is being held during lunch time. Students are encouraged to bring their lunch. This will give them more time in the computer lab.
Monday - Hewitt/Pimenta
Wednesday - Cannon
Friday - Shelton/Yi
4. Tuesday TECH TEAM 2:30 - 3:30. Students staying after school for TECH TEAM are those that are approved to stay. They must be working on a certain project - PTA Reflections or a personal project. I will be working with the students during our next few meetings.
• Just a reminder -- TECH TEAM is FREE and it's something that I do on a VOLUNTEER basis. I want to inspire students and help build their confidence through Technology.
