FYI - Friday, April 4th LEGO Competition Information

I have a tentative schedule for the tournament on April 4th. We have 20 teams so we will be running four fields, but only two at a time. I've assigned five teams to each field. Hopefully that will provide everyone with enough practice time. Each team only gets one chance to run the robot for score, so practice time is very important. 

I have enough tables to set up a 5th or 6th field to lower the number of teams per field, but I would need another mat and props. 

After talking to some of the teams, I decided to change the point values for the Batteries Mission. 40 points if all three batteries are returned to base. 10 points per battery if only 1 or 2 batteries are returned. 40 points for planting the Terraformers flag upright in the target.  Here is a link to a downloadable ScoreKeeper Worksheet.

For the MC, I would like a team roster. Team name, students' first names, grade level, and any interesting facts about the team. We're trying to make this a fun event for the students.
